TERMS OF SERVICE – DUTCH POSTPARTUM EXPERTS

1. NON-MEDICAL SERVICE DISCLAIMER

Dutch Postpartum Experts provides practical, educational, and emotional postpartum coaching based on the Dutch "Kraamzorg" methodology.

  • No Medical Advice: We are not medical professionals. We do not provide medical diagnoses, clinical treatments, or prescriptions (including, but not limited to, pain medication).
  • Practical Support Only: Our specialists assist with breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping, swaddling, bathing, hygiene, and monitoring temperatures. For any medical concerns, diagnoses, or emergencies, you must consult your licensed Midwife, GP, Obstetrician, or Hospital.
  • Emergency: In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
2. EXCLUSIVE CAPACITY & RESERVATIONS

To guarantee our "Golden Standard," we strictly limit our capacity to 12 families per week. Your payment secures a dedicated, exclusive time slot in our expert's calendar for your specific due date.

3. PAYMENT & FEES

The full service fee is due at the time of registration. This fee serves as a formal reservation for your specific due date. We offer the following Remote Maternity Specialist services:

  • Essential Package (€1,250): Includes 1x Intake & Essential Checklist, 7x daily 30-minute video sessions, and 3 days of WhatsApp priority support (8h/day).

  • Extended Package (€2,400): Includes 1x extended Intake & Essential Checklist, 7x daily 60-minute video sessions, and 7 days of WhatsApp priority support (8h/day).

  • On-Demand Session (€450): A single 1-hour individual coaching session for specific challenges

4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Because we operate with a strictly limited capacity, the following rules apply:

  • A. Pregnancy Loss (100% Refund): In the event of a loss, we provide a full refund. We require an official medical statement from your healthcare provider to process this.
  • B. General Cancellations: Up to Week 28 of pregnancy: 50% refund. After Week 28 of pregnancy: No refund. At this stage, your slot is fully committed, and we cannot offer it to another family on such short notice.
  • C. Medical Readmission: If the mother or newborn is readmitted to the hospital for medical reasons, the remaining sessions will be paused and resumed once you return home. No partial refunds are provided for paused sessions.
5. SCHEDULING, TIME ZONES & COMMUNICATION
  • Scheduling: Dutch Postpartum Experts manages all scheduling. We provide you with a fixed daily time slot for your video sessions based on international availability and time zones.
  • Notification: Clients are responsible for notifying us via the Priority WhatsApp Number within 12 hours of arriving home to finalize the start of the 7-day sprint.
  • Intake: Failure to attend the scheduled Week 30-32 intake does not entitle the client to a partial refund.
6. MANDATORY RECORDING FOR MUTUAL PROTECTION

For the legal protection of both parties and to document that no medical advice was provided, all video sessions are recorded and securely stored for 12 months. By booking our services, you explicitly consent to these recordings. Recordings are kept strictly confidential as per our Privacy Policy.

7. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
  • Dutch Law: These Terms of Service and all agreements between Dutch Postpartum Experts and the Client shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Netherlands.
  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be submitted exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent court in the Netherlands.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Dutch Postpartum Experts is not liable for any health outcomes, medical complicatons, or injuries. Our role is strictly supportive and educational. By agreeing to these terms, you waive any claims against Dutch Postpartum Experts related to medical or health-related issues.
